This place is great. Very friendly
Check this place out - total Americana! Rita is a great person/owner, and the place is unique. And give Buster a scratch on the head!
MoreOnly place for lunch between Cumberland and Little Orleans. A must stop. Food was good.
MoreNicest folks. Good food! Great prices!
Friendly atmosphere and good home cooking close to the C&O Canal towpath. Great if you're bike riding on the towpath or driving through on rte 51
MoreGreat good and friendly people.
Great food, solid prices, friendly service in a unique setting. I just wish they had air conditioning
MoreIt's a shame that schools have to close but what a beautiful way to keep a piece of your town alive. We were adventuring Oldtown when we stumbled across this little gem. The waitress was sweet and gave us a little history of the place.
MoreGreat little place! Nothing but normal simple menu! Waitress was very nice and soft spoken and kept my coffee cup full. Food was hot fresh and good flavor. "chicken fried steak! I will be back thank you.
MoreA great "diner" located in Oldtown MD
Omelet and eggs in general were over cooked and dry. Fresh bacon and ham slices. The pancakes were large. Coffee was strong.
MoreGreat place right off the C&O trail. Service was friendly and lots of value for your money.
MoreGreat place to stop for lunch on the c&o towpath! Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent!
MoreDefinitely a pleasant surprise for breakfast one morning. The French toast and ham were awesome. The old school setting is very unique. Well worth the stop especially if you are riding the GAP trail.
MoreGood food and great service. Nice quiet restaurant
Been going there for years. Not a DC gourmet restaurant. Instead it is real. Have not seen the alleged racist signs but have noticed Trump signs—however much I dislike our childlike president I don’t go there for political discussion. Larry, and his wife, who runs it are wonderful and warm people. Only complaint is fried chicken is so good have a hard time ordering anything else. Pass fancier restaurants in Cumberland for this place. If you want fancy restaurants stay downtown and enjoy Prime Rib etc. but if you want to see what makes America great go to country places like this—where America already is great and real without help from billionaires.
